I’ve learned that open communication is key. I always try to bring it up early to ensure both partners feel respected and heard.

I always start by being honest and open. It’s not easy, but clear conversations create a safer and more comfortable experience for everyone involved.

This is such an important topic 💜

For me, open communication makes a big difference, even though it can feel a bit uncomfortable at first.
I think creating a safe space where both people feel heard is key.

How do you usually start these conversations?

I think it helps when the conversation is brought up as something normal, not as a test or accusation.

For me, it feels safer when someone says things like “I care about both of us feeling comfortable and respected” instead of making it awkward or dramatic.

I also think timing matters. It’s easier before things become intimate, rather than trying to have the conversation in the middle of the moment.
