Getting Started5

The BiFiles Forum is a community space where bisexual people and allies can share experiences, ask questions, and support each other.

Discussions cover topics such as bisexual identity, relationships, mental wellbeing, sexual health, and everyday life as part of the bi community.

Our goal is to create a respectful, welcoming environment where people can explore their identity and connect with others around the world.

Yes. You need a free account to start new topics or reply to discussions.

Visitors can read many forum topics without registering, but creating an account allows you to join conversations, ask questions, and interact with other members of the community.

To create an account, click the Register link on the login page and follow the instructions.

Once your account is created, you can log in and begin participating in forum discussions. Creating an account only takes a moment and helps keep the community safe and respectful.

Yes. Many discussions on the BiFiles Forum can be read without creating an account.

However, if you want to reply to topics, ask questions, or start your own discussions, you will need to create a free account.

BiFiles currently runs several platforms that operate independently.

The BiFiles Forum, Chat, and Blogs are built on different systems. Because of this, accounts created on one platform do not automatically work on the others.

If you want to participate in multiple parts of the BiFiles network, you may need to create a separate account for each platform.

We understand this can be a little confusing at first, but it allows each platform to function independently while still being part of the same community.

Tip: Many members choose the same username across the BiFiles platforms so others can recognize them easily.

Using the Forum4

To start a new discussion, open the forum category that best matches your topic and click "Create New Topic".

Choose a clear title and write a short message explaining your question, experience, or topic. This helps other members understand your post and respond more easily.

Open the topic you would like to respond to and scroll to the reply box at the bottom of the page.

Write your message and click "Submit". Your reply will then appear in the discussion.

In most cases you can edit your own posts for a short time after publishing them.

This allows you to fix mistakes or clarify something you wrote. Moderators may also edit or remove posts if they violate the community guidelines.

Each forum category focuses on a different topic, such as bisexual identity, relationships, sexual health, or general discussions.

Before creating a new topic, choose the category that best fits your subject. This helps keep discussions organized and makes it easier for other members to find and join conversations.

Yes, absolutely.

The BiFiles community welcomes people who are exploring or questioning their sexuality, as well as those who already identify as bisexual.

Many members join the forum because they are looking for information, support, or simply a place to talk with others who understand their experiences.

You don’t need to have all the answers about your identity. Everyone is welcome to ask questions and participate in discussions respectfully.

Privacy & Safety1

No. The BiFiles Forum allows members to participate using a username.
You do not need to share your real name or personal information.

Many members prefer anonymous usernames so they can discuss bisexuality,
relationships, identity and personal experiences more freely.

For your safety, we always recommend avoiding sharing personal details
such as your address, phone number or workplace online.
