It can be exhausting proving that bisexuality is real. I try to focus on supportive spaces, but has anyone found a good way to educate people without burnout?
I get dismissed as ‘just confused’ way too often. I started pushing back with facts, but that doesn’t always help. How do you handle those conversations?
I used to feel like I had to prove my identity constantly. Now, I just refuse to justify myself to people who don’t want to listen. Anyone else feel this way?
Unfortunately some bisexual people experience misunderstanding from different sides, which can feel isolating. Finding supportive spaces and people who respect your identity can make a big difference. How have you personally handled situations where people questioned or dismissed your bisexuality?
This is such a real issue… I’ve noticed it can come from both sides, which makes it even more confusing sometimes. For me, it helped to focus on people who are open-minded and supportive.
How do you usually handle it?
