A bisexual community can appear active and welcoming while still being shaped mainly by the same small group of confident or established members.
Frequent contributors can provide continuity and help conversations grow. Newer, quieter, less experienced, or more private members may still hesitate when discussions seem to have accepted viewpoints, familiar social circles, or people who respond to nearly every topic first.
Dominance is not always intentional. Some people simply have more time, confidence, or familiarity with community language. It becomes a problem when other perspectives are repeatedly interrupted, dismissed, spoken for, or given too little room to develop.
Thoughtful moderation can help by inviting different experiences, discouraging members from speaking on behalf of everyone, and allowing slower conversations to remain visible. Established members can also support participation by asking questions, listening, and leaving room rather than feeling responsible for every discussion.
