People often seek support because they are uncertain, yet uncertainty can make asking for help feel undeserved.
You may worry that you should first know exactly whether you are bisexual, what your attractions mean, whether you want to come out, or what needs to change. Without a clear label or plan, it can feel as though you are wasting someone’s time or creating a problem that may later look different.
Support does not have to depend on certainty. You can talk about confusion, fear, attraction, relationships, or privacy without presenting a final conclusion. A helpful listener should not pressure you to choose a label, disclose before you are ready, or turn one conversation into a decision about your future.
Sometimes the most useful support is simply having room to describe what is happening without being told what it must mean.
Have you ever delayed asking for support because you felt you were not certain enough, and what helped you realise that uncertainty itself was worth discussing?
