At BiFiles Chat, safety, privacy, and respect matter. This page explains how we help keep the community safe and what you can do if something does not feel right.
You deserve to feel comfortable, respected, and supported while using BiFiles Chat.
💜 Our Commitment to Safety
BiFiles Chat is designed as a supportive and inclusive space for bisexual people, bi-curious people, and respectful allies. Safety is a shared responsibility between the platform, moderators, and community members.
We actively work to:
- Encourage respectful, consent-aware interaction
- Moderate harmful, disruptive, or unsafe behavior
- Respond to reports seriously and discreetly
- Create a space where people feel safe to speak up
- Protect the community from spam, harassment, pressure, and abuse
🔞 Adults-Only Community
BiFiles Chat is intended for adults aged 18 and older. Guests may browse public chatrooms, but posting, messaging, and interaction require a registered account.
Age-related rules help us keep the community safer and more appropriate for the conversations that may take place.
🚩 When to Report
Please report behavior that makes you feel unsafe, pressured, or uncomfortable, including:
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or hate speech
- Sexual pressure or unwanted explicit messages
- Boundary violations or repeated unwanted contact
- Pushy private messages or attempts to move conversations too quickly
- Sharing images, audio, video, or personal information without consent
- Impersonation, misleading behavior, scams, or suspicious accounts
- Spam, advertising, or disruptive behavior
- Any conduct that violates our Community Guidelines
You do not need to be certain that a rule was broken before reporting a concern. If something feels wrong, unsafe, or inappropriate, it is okay to report it.
🛠️ How to Report
If you experience or witness inappropriate behavior, you can:
- Use the in-chat reporting tools, if available
- Contact a moderator or admin directly
- Email us at support@bifiles.com
Please include, where possible:
- The username or profile involved
- The chatroom where it happened
- A brief description of what occurred
- The approximate date and time, if you know it
Screenshots can be helpful, but they are not required.
🔒 What Happens After a Report
Reports are handled with care and discretion. We review concerns as fairly as possible based on the information available.
After a report is received:
- A moderator or admin may review the situation
- Relevant messages, profiles, or user behavior may be checked
- Action may include guidance, content removal, restrictions, warnings, or account action
- Serious or repeated violations may lead to permanent removal from BiFiles Chat
We do not tolerate retaliation against users who report concerns in good faith.
🎧 Audio & Video Safety
Some chatrooms may support audio and/or video communication.
For your safety:
- Never feel pressured to turn on audio or video
- Leave the room if you feel uncomfortable
- Do not record, screenshot, or share conversations without consent
- Do not pressure others to appear on audio or video
- Report inappropriate audio or video behavior immediately
Your comfort and boundaries always come first.
🧘 Take Care of Yourself
Online conversations can sometimes feel intense, personal, or overwhelming.
If you need space, you can:
- Step away from the conversation
- Mute, block, or avoid users where those tools are available
- Leave a chatroom that does not feel right for you
- Reach out for support outside the platform if needed
Your mental and emotional well-being matters more than any conversation.
🤝 Supportive Moderation
Moderators are here to help maintain a safer, calmer, and more respectful environment. They are not here to shame people for asking questions or exploring identity.
They aim to:
- De-escalate situations where possible
- Protect vulnerable users
- Enforce rules fairly and consistently
- Act in the best interest of the wider community
