Dating as a bisexual person can come with unique experiences — and sometimes unexpected challenges.
Looking back, what’s something you wish you knew earlier?
Could be about communication, expectations, or even yourself.
I remember feeling frustrated at times when people made assumptions about me just because I’m bisexual.
It took me a while to realize that not everyone will understand it — and that’s okay.
That’s when communication became a lot more important for me than I expected.
Especially when assumptions come into play… curious if others have experienced that too.
For me, I wish I had known earlier that not everyone will understand or accept it — and that’s okay.
I used to feel like I had to explain or justify myself, especially in dating.
Now I see it differently… the right people don’t make it an issue.
Curious if others experienced this too — did you feel pressure to explain yourself when dating?
