Being comfortable with your bisexuality doesn't always mean other people understand it.
You might have reached a point where you no longer question your attraction or feel the need to prove your identity. Yet people around you may still make assumptions based on your partner, your dating history, or what they think bisexuality should look like.
Someone might assume you're straight because you're in a different-gender relationship, or gay because you're dating someone of the same gender. Others may question whether you're really bisexual, even when you're completely comfortable with that label yourself.
That can create an uncomfortable contrast: feeling secure in who you are while still having to navigate other people's expectations.
Have you ever felt confident in your bisexual identity but misunderstood by the people around you?
How do you handle those moments? Do you explain yourself, correct assumptions, or simply let them go?
There's no expectation to share anything personal. Different experiences and perspectives are welcome.
