Has Gender Identity or Gender Expression Ever Influenced Your Attraction?

Attraction is not always just about someone's appearance. For some people, masculinity, femininity, or androgyny plays an important role in who they find attractive. For others, knowing how someone identifies can influence their feelings, even when that person's appearance has not changed.

This can raise interesting questions for bisexual people.

Maybe you're attracted to a particular kind of gender expression across different genders. Perhaps someone coming out as non-binary changed how you understood your attraction to them. Or maybe their gender identity made no difference to your attraction at all.

These experiences don't necessarily fit into simple rules about being bisexual, pansexual, or having a particular type.

Have you ever noticed someone's gender identity or gender expression influencing your attraction?

Does masculinity, femininity, or androgyny matter more to you than someone's gender identity? Have your feelings ever changed after learning how someone identifies?

There's no single correct pattern of attraction, and nobody needs to justify their preferences or choose a different label to participate.
